The town of Cootamundra was where
      Don Bradman was born in 1908 when his
         parents were running a farm at nearby
            Yeo Yeo. The building in which the birth
             took place is now a museum dedicated
             to the event.  More >

   Don Bradman lived in Adelaide from 1934 until his  death in 2001. The State Library of South Australia is the custodian of the Bradman Collection, a portion of which is in the Bradman Collection Museum at the Adelaide Oval, while the State Library retains a presence with animated images in the lenticular wall in the Spence wing of the Library. Don Bradman was known as 'The Boy from Bowral' when he burst into international cricket in 1928. Today in Bowral the Museum that he helped create recalls his extraordinary career, alongside picturesque Bradman Oval. More >
